Northwestern Lands Physical Forward Luke McEldon

Northwestern Mens Basketball Secures Major Roster Boost with Luke McEldon Northwestern mens basketball coach Chris Collins has secured a significant addition to the roster with the arrival of six-foot-ten forward Luke McEldon. The two-hundred-fifty-five-pound forward, who has two years of eligibility remaining, joins the Wildcats directly from Mount Saint Marys. McEldon had a standout redshirt sophomore season at Mount Saint Marys, starting twenty-nine of thirty games and averaging eleven point seven points, six point two rebounds, and several assists and blocks per game. He shot sixty-four point five percent from the field. Collins sees McEldon as the ideal physical presence for the Big Ten paint, capable of matching up against larger post players. His strong work ethic and positive character make him a perfect fit for the Wildcats team culture. Before joining Mount Saint Marys, McEldon spent two seasons at Santa Clara, appearing in limited action in fourteen games. The London native was a three-star recruit, ranked among the top five in his state and top twelve in New England while prepping at Cushing Academy in Massachusetts. With McEldons addition, Northwesterns frontcourt has received a substantial upgrade, positioning the team for a strong performance in the conference next season.
