The Sounders are now officially off to their best start in franchise history, going undefeated and claiming 17 points through their first 7 games while posting a +11 goal-difference. They’re leading hte Supporters’ Shield by three points and have a four-point advantage in the Western Conference.  The Sounders have, of course, done this without Jordan Morris, while only getting 24 minutes in total from Nicolas Lodeiro and their two most recent results have come without Stefan Frei. They now have a chance to head into the June international break with a 6-0-2 record if they can beat expansion Austin FC at home on Sunday.
