Not a competitor?

I used to not think this way. I was a HORRIBLE loser. I used to think people who weren't upset after a loss were not competitive. That mindset also destroyed my love of competition, especially with all my health issues.Then I went to work on my mental game. Now I realize how lucky I am to be able to compete in the first place. I realize now that to truly love the game (fill in the blank of whatever that is here), that means I can see the other person's accomplishments or great play and understand how hard it was to get there too. That doesn't mean I don't see where I can improve to try and win next time. But it also means I can just appreciate the game for what it is and not define my existence on whether or not I was the victor.
