Beyond the immediate attack, the Hon. orders themobilization of 20 youths to cause confusion at polling units and"shut down" any locations that refuse to cooperate on election day.While Utu carries out these orders, he privately worries about the fate of Gbagagba,a fellow henchman still in police custody, fearing that the Boss willeventually abandon him as well.In a parallel development, a "Manof God" (Pastor Cletus) visits the Hon. with a "troublingrevelation" that he will lose the election. Exploiting thepolitician's desperation, the Pastor claims the battle is a "toughspiritual" one requiring a 40-day fast. Sweating and fearful for his ownsafety, Lotanna warns Utugbaraigwe not to sleep in the house tonight orfor the next few days. He flees before providing full details, leaving him confusedas the threat of the evening strike looms.The episode concludes with a sternreminder of the Electoral Act. It warns citizens that giving orcollecting money or gifts to influence a vote is a crime.
