To achieve this, a Nkiruis offered a bribe of 100,000 Naira (with another 100,000 promised uponcompletion) to mobilize women against her.The political establishment is shown to be panicked by a local radiostation that is broadcasting their secret discussions and "evilplans" word-for-word. This leads to internal accusations of "stabbingin the back" and leaking information to the media.A campaign tactic involves distributing food items—including rice,salt, sugar, and wrappers—to villagers in exchange for their support. Whilesome characters argue they should keep the items because it is "our moneythey used to buy it," others firmly reject the gifts to maintain theirintegrity.A central part of the dialogue serves as an educational tool, informingthe audience that the Electoral Act incriminates both the giver and thereceiver of any gift intended to influence a voter’s decision. The statedpenalty for this crime is one year in prison, a fine of 500,000 Naira, or both.The programme concludes with a strong message urging citizens to "shineyour eye" and not sell their future to politicians, emphasizing that thegreatest political currency is the trust and goodwill of the people.
