"Not I, Rabbi, surely?"- Judas’ response to Jesus serves as a reminder to all of us that we sometimes betray Jesus in many ways. Our repeated sins crucify Jesus over and over again. Judas separated himself from Jesus’ love. When we cut ourselves from the source of love, Jesus, there is a high tendency to fall into sin again and again.Jesus is always faithful even when we are not. God always loves us as who we are, and He is always waiting for us to come home to him.The crosses in our lives will always tempt us to give up our faith. In facing these challenges, we can choose to run away or turn back to Jesus and ask Him to send His Holy Spirit to guide us to enable us to carry our crosses everyday.
