Yeah, what up, buddy? What up, buddy? I'm not really. I get it.

I get it. He was wild. He's wild. Yeah, he's done some things.

He's done things. He's done things. He's done things. He's done things.

He's done things. He's done things. He's done things. You're even listening to the good news, sir.

But there are things outside of it. Yeah. That people, that real people... I'll get to that later because that's a part of it.

I don't know. It's the cloudy, rainy, rainy week. I stepped outside this morning. The sun is out.

It's nice. Bro. I've got to say, man, it looks good. I forgot what those spring days look like because it's been so overcast so long.

I've got to... Hopefully... The grass dries. That sounds like you know, hopefully the grass dries up the day because it's supposed to rain tomorrow and I've got the grass.

Yo, you know how funny that is for me to hear you say that? Listen, I'm going to say the fact that we're on the same time. One of the other reasons I went outside. I looked at the back 40.

I looked at the back 40, right? I'm looking at the shit. Grass kind of hot because I like rain and made the shit grow and all that. It's looking kind of crazy out there.

It's not looking anywhere as crazy as out front. Out front, yo, the stocks a week are just... It's like Kansas. It's like Kansas.

It's like Kansas, though. It's like Kansas, though. It's like, dude, yo. Nice.

Nice. It's so good. Oh, bitty. Oh, bitty's back.

Okay. All right. All right. All right.

We talked about so we should have... Let's get it cracking. Okay. Ne, ne, ne.

Okay. One more one for the Black Culture Geeks podcast. This is my man, SB Jake. You.

And I am tuned to install the Dead Man. And we are just a couple of geeks talking about pop culture from a black perspective. Thanks. It's really important.

Ah! The trainer is in... I'm almost black. Absolutely.

But I must give you fair warning. I have a bag of chips. And they probably will be eating on course. I need to get some chips.

You need to really get some chips. Sometimes you gotta get some chips. You know what I'm saying? Right.

Mmm. Let me see if she brings it. Ah! I'm actually submitting it to a lady some chips down there.

Yeah. Get some chips. Yeah. Cause I don't be...

I don't smoke so I don't be smoking on no packs. But I'm definitely going to be crunching on some chips. I want 100% of the crunching on some chips today. Cause y'all get on my fucking nerves.

Well, real. First. That's a good response. That's a good response.

It's a good response. It's a good response. Yeah. Yeah.

We have a bunch of chips right there. Yo, that's crazy. But for whatever reason, my mother-in-law has been, um, just buying a whole bunch of chips and shit like you too. I don't know what that's about.

But I imagine it's keeping people coming. Thanks. Keep them coming. What up, Ken?

When else? What up? What up? Real quick, show you some cultural differences.

So, Ken, being in the region that he is in, they say, Buenos Dias. Right. In the region, I'm going to be in Panama. They just say, Buenos.

Right. And they use that, well, all kinds of greetings. Oh, sure. Yeah.

Just a cultural differences, please. What my man, Ken, is that, and us Afro-Cadimani. But, okay. Okay.

Okay. You know what I'm saying? I do want to take a trip down to Medellin, though. I'm all right.

I do. I do. And when I'm able to make that actually happen, the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to do is I'm going to do it. Yeah, we're doing it.

It's just makes it all right down there. Just makes sense. So, we have quite a lot to do there. It's a little bit of tension.

And the only proper way that I can imagine to start this show. And this thing, what I'm about to do, we had an issue with before, but it was, whether we agreed with the reasoning, if the reasoning was true, in a sense, it's fine. Right. But I thought I'd only wait to properly start this particular show.

This particular episode of the Black Culture Geeks is... I thought... I thought... I thought...

I thought... I thought... I thought... I thought...

I thought... I thought... I thought... I never play song.

Thank you. You're the bestest. I never play songs on the show. Never.

Not in ours. Or in our tune or in our... But there's a thing going on. And one of the reasons why I'll just say, Kendrick once, because I can do that.

Because he's released the copyright on all of the music that is involved with this beat. This beat. So... I can play post-op.

I want y'all to really dig into the chess move that was. And how important it is for people like us who make content. It's a chess move because once you drop the copyright stuff to it, all the content creators complain about getting their shit shut down, or getting their video demonetized, all of that. So that means they're going to play it more.

Especially because it's relevant. So that gets all of Kendrick's arguments, his claims, his accusations, and accusations come to a wider audience. There's more point where if his said opponent responds, it won't have the same punch. Because more people will have heard, and we can go off the numbers to verify this.

So more people will have heard his shit. And in a battle of public opinion, which is really all mainstream battle is. Yeah, so still. It's not an act of a problem.

In order for you to, in like a public opinion, that's what this is, you have to sway the public. It's not that much different than an election, right? Whoever has either the money or the access to get their message out there more, it goes further. The odds are they're going to win.

Unless the message is shitting a role, or they have a history that precludes the wipes all of that way, they just don't want to plug with them. But yeah, and that's basically what a Kung Fu Kenny did. I mean, I basically did, like, and he made sure that he stayed the more relevant one by stepping on everything, Sir Drake. Hey, look, did he put out?

And then what made it worse? Drake. Why? Wait.

Just like the day last week, we don't walk this shit down. Walk it down. So hours after we ended the show last week, it didn't drop another song. What else we don't know?

It's what the title of the episode is. It is the song that I just played. That shit went mega viral. I'm talking about mega viral.

It went viral the way no disrecord in the history of hip hop has gone. And I'm talking about even the Justin Forgulation. Yeah. But no disrecord has ever, the closest ironically is back to back.

But no, this surpasses that. Every list. Yeah, clearly. Everyone Danielle.

When would going to camp. Check out out there. You fuck up and the fire just like on the dry leaves and sticks and shit like that. & shit spread.

That's literally what that shit, I mean. Next, actually, no yellows done was gone, man. Yo, one moment, we were hearing it for the first time. And then the next moment, we wouldn't take timeasuring videos for the first time.

Bro, I give up! I was expecting you! Cuz, John, I love you but we won't get you ass on this episode. I was talking to him on Facebook.

that they can't know. Saying like, yo, I don't really like, I still don't think that I can't do the words I use, but the second that I was was, I still think Drake has the best song, Emory's thing. But then this shit just kept spreading legitimately couldn't get away from the type of spreading, like, like, earworm, like, spread. Yeah, yeah.

So this is spreading nothing there on the contrary. But that was ended at that point because because the only good thing argument people had who had been trying to downplay Kendrick was that not if his distracts were playable in the club. And that nobody got saying, guys, they got saying to be clear, we all believe that should be a prerequisite for an effective district. It hasn't, it hasn't, we won't get into that too.

But it hasn't always been like that. Yarnick is one of the shake y'all asked to a district is new to us. Right. That's new.

Completely new. But we're also not going to add, you know, we're going to be buying some act like Drake and getting shipped away. People think about rap beats with back to back. Oh, not just rap beat.

Right. The stuff that you're accepting now, y'all. Absolutely. Absolutely.

Absolutely. Absolutely. Y'all. But the Kendrick did it on the same night.

This song was being played in clubs. The New York. So hold up from New York to Singapore. Let me read the post I made after I saw the next one response.

Probably after like the first 15 minutes. Like I said, I was talking to Chris like as soon as it dropped. But like after the first 15 minutes, like and I had seen, I had seen what it was doing. I made this post.

I said, every hip hop fan that isn't being biased. New York Kendrick would out-rat trade. That's like a surprise. It has out-streamed him on streaming services.

Kendrick has out-streamed him on YouTube. Kendrick has grabbed the impact lead. I want to get you some lead. This nigga went from number three of the big three to number one in a month.

Right. This is the reason I thought it was over that point is that the only thing Drake could easily do, again, in good faith, is say Kendrick was lying, try to downplay the whole situation that Kendrick is beneath him, make something else up about Kendrick or double down on the angles that he's already started. His stance would see that as acceptable, but the real fans of the culture would see through it. The only alternative that would actually turn the ties would be if he could prove something that he said.

It's actually after saying a couple of things that simple Google search would disprove. What we tried to do, say Kendrick was lying, try to downplay the whole situation, say another thing that was easily disproved, kind of the whole thing was him feeding Kendrick's info, and then imply that if Kendrick dropped again, he wouldn't respond. His stance saw that as acceptable, but the rest of the world really much seems to be seeing through it exactly how I thought they would. Now, let's talk about the effects of superfane them for a second.

Oh, let's... The worst part about that is... Well, the first part about this particular song, the last song that Drake released in the heart part six, is... Who was actually writing on the song?

The beat was actually dope. The beat was dope as fuck. Right. But it's kind of like I was saying to Gus Chris, that effect, let me read...

Let me read what... The exchange that we had on that poster that I just read, he said, in response to my post, he said, yeah, that's definitely surprising me. That out-streaming him. I think that might be number one as far as this beat stuff go, but I still don't know if he's on a global level of a drink.

I think a few weeks, maybe a few months, that shit going to flip that. And Drake's number is going to be on top again unless the shit that same time has got to be true. I understand it. We're heading, a different conversation.

I'm not talking about global stuff. I'm talking about the culture. If we're talking about global, people like Pitbull and Flowrata into the shit. He responds.

I get what you're saying. I think to Kendrick was really strategic about the way he did it. He dropped me to Graham's like an hour after Drake was coming up. Got family matters.

So the people were on the... The next song, you got to try to fully observe Drake's last one. That was perfect the way he did it all. I'll say, yeah, this isn't a versus.

I think that's what a lot of people got fucked up. I think that's what I think that's what male got fucked up. This is not a versus. Versus as coincidence how y'all think about this shit.

You cooking. This is not a versus. Versus they come out explicitly say even though in the beginning it was a little more competitive than it ended up being, but they explicitly say that even when it was being competitive, that this is celebration of music. You can pick and choose which one you think is the best song.

That was not a real competition. This is completely there. This is rap beat. Hold on.

Unless you put a JD kiss and... No, let's say. Listen. It's because of kiss.

It's because of kiss being who he is. He's hurt that shit is something different. This is a versus. This is the shit that used to permeate through mixed tapes.

That's what this is. That's what this is. So I said this is a rap band. It's not about just making a song people.

So much more goes into it. Drake has shown that he understands this in the past. I don't know what happened this time. Chris said I don't necessarily think he did anything wrong.

I think it's more of that to everything right. I said no. He underestimated Kendrick is what he did wrong. He also lied about it's easily disproving.

You're supposed to lie on these things, but those lies are supposed to be things that a quick Google search won't expose you for. Right. This is kind of what I meant when I said we're having two different conversations. You're talking about what sounds you like better, which is cool.

But that's a preference. I'm talking about who won in the sport of rap beat. I don't really like, because again, I haven't heard it 7,000 times yet. I don't really like them not like us record, but it's literally being played in clubs all across the country.

Just like with that, I would be a part of it. I say he also played himself in a position to be looked at a certain way. Similar to what Cole did, all this tell Kendrick to come outside. We'll boo you man.

That's fine. Hold on. You can play with this. Right.

That last song should have been just aimed at Kendrick talking about faggot names, because this is before Drake's Heart. I said the last song should have just been aimed at Kendrick. We're going to circle that to that. On top of that, everybody who is is in the hip-hop and isn't lost to what either of these do.

If you've heard all the songs in this last episode, I want you to do a little bit of homework. Go back and listen to the song element from Kendrick Lamar. Outside of me just thinking it's a pretty good song. There's one line that really hits home and sums this up.

Most of y'all throw rocks and try to hide your hand. Just say his name and I promise that you'll see Candyman. Negative. We're talking about y'all.

That was about Drake. And his other things in that song better about Drake. We're going to go into that right now. I'm going to try and catch up with y'all.

That's B-E-T award. That was about Drake. That control burst made the sense of the rapid talking. That's about Drake.

That's about Drake. For Drake's analysis, that's why I can't just be doing too much. After when he dropped the first song, he was begging for Kendrick to drop the sauce. That's why.

That's why. If you had not talked about Drake before, here's the thing. I want to make perfect and clear. I want to make perfect and clear that I can't just be in the first time he said anything about this beef and I commented something.

He didn't call me. He implied that I was being biked. Let's put this out here. For anybody that's listening.

You had us talk about Drake before the situation started. You have heard me speak about him in a mostly positive light. I've seen him first at Tom, Tom, Ed, on this show. From the Biki Me Defend Drake.

I can't realistically call myself a big fan of either of these two. I don't listen to that music that much. How did I even turn? What's going on?

I know what he's making. If we had to quantify, I'm a bigger fan of Kendrick. I'm a big fan of the way he does. I love the way he said that.

That's me too. Culturally. I lean to work. Kendrick.

Yes. I prefer what he does over the big does. But again, another role. I'm never going to stop giving Drake the props for the skill that he deserves.

That is still the best. That's the best. He fucked this one up. Absolutely.

What you all need to understand is, give him Drake his proper respect for the lanes that he's not going to be good at. It's not about Drake. No. It's about ability.

Right. I said, I said, I said, I don't like you. I said, all things do in today. Bring us in.

Take him by the geese. Go. You asked something about the super tiny thing. Yeah.

So, I need this chip. You ought to be embarrassed. Thanks. You ought to be embarrassed.

Two things come to my attention this week. Now, if all of these things, you understand the things that I already knew, but maybe only one of them I actually verbalized. One, and I'm speaking just for my community right now. Even though I know it doesn't apply exclusively to them.

No. But folks are horrible at telling the difference between what good evidence is and the playing and assertions are. They're good. You're terrible at this shit.

I had to hear from drink fans and country fans about evidence. I felt both lacking. But the direct fans even more so. Right.

And two. I'm going to go into that later. Later because we probably covered that in some of the other we got a bunch of shit. So, let's start with the drinking.

Now, this was exciting. Especially mainstream fan. People are fans of me just exciting. Right.

But I'd be glad if I said for a lot of us older fans it was about the entertainment because It was about the entertainment because it didn't have all the elements we wanted. Now for me because I'm a black culture geek, this was about the back and forth like a band of tennis match. What would he say? That's what I think.

Because I like a lot of time ago how to separate. I know what I want out of it, but I'll take what's there. Real quick, I'm very big on that. I was always talking about it as far as movies are concerned.

You are supposed to judge a piece of content on what the content is. Not what you aspire for it to be, not what your fan fiction says, not murder shit. You are supposed to judge the content on what the content actually is. Right.

Right. So I think it's clear that Drake made a bunch of claims about Kendrick. That he was molested as a child, he beats his wife, his kid as he is. That he's dumb because according to Drake, Kendrick needed to do his fact-checking to see if the stuff he talked about in his rats were true.

No, by the way. No, he didn't. This is battle rap. Now, it's a model form of battle rap in my opinion.

And so I don't watch this battle rap, this is a battle rap. Right. It's a battle rap all the same. And it was never a requirement for that when attacking your opponent.

What? Just don't like it. Just don't like it. But my answer is, yeah, your mom is over my house the other day.

We know it's not true. Come on, bro. But there's no way that can't be verified. It can't be verified and nobody tried.

And nobody tried. That's going to be 100% lost. Like facts. Facts, right.

It's never been a requirement. Now, look at the twist that if you attack your opponent with some true stuff, that's a bullet list. What's the turns out to be true? That's a huge extra points for that.

Points for hustle of the ring. Right. All right. And to be sure, Drake never presented any evidence for any of the claims he made.

He just made them. That's it. That's all. No paperwork.

Nothing. And guess what? He didn't need to. Right.

He doesn't need to make it sound good, implausible. That's it. That's it. And y'all got real funny in it.

I noticed every time you had these sorts of battles and stuff, the fans moved the goal post. And this is where we find all these extra rules and requirements in here. Slowly over the years, it starts accumulating. You got a week to respond.

Like, all that come from Nick, as his ad known. Right. So over on Kendrick's side of defense, he didn't present much evidence either. Y'all got to realize what I mean by evidence.

Mm-hmm. Taught a paperwork. I say much because I don't say much because Metro Woman did show a screenshot. Yes.

It would look like the B.A.C. Indecisnow. Right. Yes, I know that's a bit thin because we would still have to verify.

But nonetheless, we're not sending nobody to jail. Right. Nobody's going to jail. This is the one, the public opinion.

Right. And Kendrick accused Drake of having another kid and hiding it. And inappropriate to minors. Mm-hmm.

Generally being a horrible person. Yeah. Hell, but then here's the thing about, because I hear a lot of people. Oh, so because Kendrick said it is true.

But when Drake said you got a fact check, no, no. The problem is a lot of the things that Kendrick said is already smoking the streets. Oh, I'm about to go there. I'm about to go there.

I'm about to go there. So not to mention the fact that he also accused Drake of not really being authentic with this bling. Thanks. To be clear, there is no paperwork where Drake was accused by the authorities of any wrongdoing.

Correct. But it's been a shit ton of suspect shit. A bunch. From surgery.

In each of these claims, we have video footage of him being inappropriate to him. I don't want to say it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, because this is the thing. This is the fuck off.

And now this is the fuck off. We don't want to detail on what happened. Oh, that's the bad. A police man, that show.

It was that show. He was in the range of like 28 or something like that. Yeah. It was at a show.

He had somebody come on to the stage. The girl has now spoken. And I'm just going to, as I'm telling the story, I'm going to be going to be on cushion. Yeah.

She said, um, my, she's 31. I don't know. 36. I'm in the grandstand with things exactly in the context of what I'm about to say.

We are fucking babies. And I'm over there. That's true. So she said, I'm glad I got you.

Listen, listen again. We got to be biased about this shit. We got to be biased about this shit. She said it was nothing man.

It was nothing. No. I was 17 years old. My father fucked him by the way.

Yeah, fuck him. He's out of the way to a show and Drake didn't pick me out. His people picked me out, which doesn't matter. Because whether it was him or not, at that point in time, none of that shit matters.

Let's assume, because I have an issue with this too, but for the second argument, there's still men there saying, when you get to lie on the crowd, you have no idea how old you are. That's right. You have issues with this, but for the argument, you want to be on the other side. Okay.

Oh, don't worry. I got you covered with that too. Okay. Okay.

So we, we, they don't know who pick her up because like that's going wrong. They're not wrong. They're not wrong. They're not wrong.

No. No. No matter who's got to go out. All right.

Her her, her response to the thought was it's a popular thing and shows that a performer would bring him a final stage. Man, right. Let me say to you. Very clearly.

Nobody needed you to explain that one. The challenge accent, they're years. Yeah. Open decades.

Yeah. The idea of her decades has a part in her show where she brings a guy on stage. And she does things to him on stage. Okay.

Several artists have always done this. We are aware of this. You don't need to. You try to introduce this fact as if it absolves him of what happened on the stage.

As if the physical things that happened on the stage are not real because it was part of the act. No, the physical things that happened on stage still happened on stage. We all saw it. We saw the video.

We heard the audio at a point. So he's a but rubbing all on there and all this other type of stuff at a point. He stopped and he says, how old are you? Now, again, there's some new answer that I can argue with, but the still man has point.

If when she said 17, because initially here we have to, when she said 17, like, oh, man, if that would have been the end of the situation, again, there's new answer that I still disagree with the point about the make, but still man inside, cool, no harm no foul. Because you want to say you didn't know and then when you found out they stopped. But no, that's not what happened. No.

He proceeded to talk about how big she is, how good her breast felt. Then he kissed her hands. No, that's not that issue. But then he kissed each cheek.

Why are you just on the lips? No, no, I don't care. There's nothing that you can say. And he did, how do I wait?

He did these things after being told she was 17. No, say that again, because I see a lot of overlooking of this. He did these things after being made aware that she was 17. Again, if you want to say we're going to argument everything before she said I'm 17, I thought.

What? What? He's not appropriate, he's not appropriate and again to all you dumbucks that are right here talking about this is what I want. You know we have we have.

Yeah, the thing is you're right. Other artists do. Women up on stage and do stuff, key word here is women, not little girls. And before any of you other suspect PDF files say some goofy shit.

She was almost 18. Please miss me with that bullshit. I've read the little girl, I'm an only with three girls. I know what a 17 year old is and I know with an 18 year old is the only difference between them is the law and some of the less than the minds of you predators.

Never. Of course you. Dots. Quackling.

Quackling. These are those were almost names. No. No.

No. Also, also more smoke. The suspect bars that Drake constantly writes. I put in rights of quotation.

So take the song as example. I mean, just me, they were talking about that this week. Pat, he's home. Top, he's home.

Right. He has a line in there. Sierra, Cannon, parking lot looking like Magic City parking lot. Now, for those of you that don't understand the references, I'm going to give you the last reference first.

The last reference is a strip club. Magic City. Now, let's go to that first reference. Sierra Cannon School is a private co-educational university preparatory day school located in Los Angeles, California.

Sierra, Cannon, enrolled students and listen, I'm saying in preschool through grade 12. I'm saying again, preschool, because I wanted to sit and marinate for those so they can get this sizzle when they spirit. So they can't then try to overlook it and go to, no, no, no, no, preschool through 12th grade. Yep.

What does this line mean? Drake? What could possibly be? What are we talking about?

Basically, Magic City parking lot. Oh, you know what the girls? You talk about club girls? So when you look over there at the little school, preparatory school?

You build a connection with that? With the girls there? Is that what you're doing? Now, y'all can get mad at King Kenny.

All you want for bringing this up, but honest with yourself, we've been talking about just suspecting years with him. And y'all only chose to ignore it because of what? Because of fandom, because of this. Because of the feeling of this thing.

But fan bias, that's all it is. That's all it is. Yeah. So, let's get into some reaction.

Tell me what reactions. Tell me what reactions. Tell me what reactions. Tell me what reactions.

We only got two categories this time, as opposed to last time when there was a bunch of them. This first category is people talking about strategy throughout this beef and Drake fans coping. First one, I will say Drake's starting to beef out with numbers wise. I'm out of here.

You're not even creeping up. Then ending it with I don't care about your streaming numbers because Kendrick out there is crazy. Next moment, you think if you plan it for us information, you would document it for when the opponent bit the beef. You're selling it as much as buying the good kid in that city car.

Cross it. Filmed out the restaurant with the full Kendrick mentioned but didn't film a thing, pictures of the beef. Interesting. Interesting.

Next person. I want semantics when it comes to pedophile versus a feeble file. It's not the route you want to take. Right.

And we didn't mention that yet. But there are a lot of people out here talking about, oh no, you want mess with no pre-pre-be, that's not children. You got a pedophile. Man, that's not another tweet.

And somebody was like, please say it. You don't have to see people bring up their pedophile angle because it's much harder to prove that. And somebody was like, no, you don't see people bring up their feedback because they don't know what the fuck it means. They don't know what it means.

We as the culture have been conditioned to consider all that shit pedophile. Yes. That's how we've been conditioned. It's not the fact of it.

But you know what the fuck people are saying when they say it. You know what the fuck it. Right. Somebody else, Drake now understanding Mother Us Over is kind of funny in theory that Drake's fans cannot comprehend lyrics because their king can't either.

That's funny. That's hilarious. It wasn't an understanding. Left and left and right.

Drake insinuates. No, actually he always says, he always says, that he understands, again, this isn't recording him. He understands why Kendrick is so hung up on the pedophile angle because in his song, Mother Us Over, he said he admitted that he was molested as a child. No, that's not what happened in the song.

That's not what happened in the song. Actually quite popular opposite Kendrick was talking to his mother and his mother because of the trial that she's been through Assumed that he was molested and he passed and he told and he was asked and he said no, but she didn't believe him It's what happened Music would just skim through it. Oh you right? I Right names no you won't get you it don't matter.

It don't matter if it's true Listen me 40 years me. Listen, I will completely cut to my dad You didn't pin the couple looks at certain points certain beats Thanks, and to be clear so is a ghost right? There's a certain expectation in it by no other genre head and I hear people now try to you know The reality situation is it was one of the things they gave him a sneak Yes, rappers used to be superheroes to me. Mm-hmm, but if you not if it's not your power Right Just saying so you wait, but again, I will make the real point that you were trying to be You are a writer you have credits of writing the other people's songs This no way it wasn't coded it wasn't in a double entendre.

It was a metaphor there He said the words and I'm gonna say this that you rarely hear me say when it comes to drink you are a writer of a high level You are this is a distinguished writer But look at the amount of money you have generated And from your writings yes, but right for people so I'm not trying to hear you not understanding what that was when a bunch of non-writers Understood what it was Next line Not only alleged that Drake is a PDF out but also that his entire team is freaking perfect So Drake your whole thing allowed you to feed Kendrick that all of them were petals like his crew is like yeah Tell me we're all purrs not Oh By one of the people in his crew came home from a charge. Yeah So Bro, so it don't need to be 100% true in a better way it's gonna be plausible and after going over all we took just talk about about the incidents with Drake and each I'm in the video footage one of the people in the crew got a funny charge on his ass and with jail for yo It's completely with and Kendrick's right name. I would say his response a billion in a battle But I use that the way to use that yeah, that's what somebody say Kendrick says you have a mood rate Family marriage drops meet the Graham's drops immediately. I was it up with not like us few things later Drake says hi.

I got you It doesn't track it doesn't track Somebody else you know Aubrey angels went looking for some sweets on Kendrick Aubrey's and it's a holy find that he is indeed the most More negative all time and the response was over to peace like hey guys I think I'm like that's right now Because we I said famous tweet and he had a question that I forgot it It's set my fucking mind, but no this person It absolutely is what the free was about Hendrix and J-Rock performed this on money trees and that's fine like that is absolutely what the sweet was about Next person I know you're not a performer performer right if you was That's what That's my sand goody other music Other stories when you can buy the physical music makes sense the dude Still a name so he was gonna track quite a few people there. So does the building matter if I'm attracting people there It was in the rockin so Opposed a very interesting question we talked about this a day before I think I think we're different with this Ken says how do you deal with what a musical favorite has a few sketchy songs now? I will say is I'm not going to answer the direct question of that. So if a musical favorite has a few catchy songs I will say I'll answer me personally that I'll just talk about in general me personally I am one of those people.

I know there's a big debate about this phrase I am one of the people that separates the art from the artist and the reason that I do that is because I'm of the From belief that once you release art it is no one of yours It is of the people it is theirs to in to in take and do with what they will So I am one of the people that is able to separate art from the artist that said It depends on how much the person is doing and has done I Have used our Kelly as the example because I talked about this before my rule for our Kelly is If I listen to our Kelly song it will be on a platform where he's not getting paid from you listening to our Kelly So if I have this on downloaded I listen to it, but Right, you know I mean that rule. I don't necessarily hear to it even when I'm listening on platforms where he's not gonna get played Often times I skip his songs So now I'll go back to in general This is an unfair I Get the point that you're making but it's an unfair point to make some general public because the general public is stupid And I'm not even saying no see you lay I need to go away That's my to be funnier, but when I say When I say stupid, I mean that they don't put no When I say I mean that they don't put the Melt of critical thinking and analysis into everyday things the way they should Oh Like I had this conversation with Christy all time because we like often talk about like what songs mean Because you have the biggest example we keep talking about is how many people that you hear and a wedding recession will play the So funny, but we made some before I let go. That's a fucking break-up song. It is why you play that?

It's a session it does not fit the thing in any way shape or form so that makes it a nothing that rubble here is how many of these 70s and 80s rock groups have songs we're talking about having sex with little girls 20 of them and I would argue in my opinion because there's no I can prove this in my opinion half of the people that like those songs In the fact and I use these things like people use it before I let go for fucking Who use Maxwell's woman's worth for their wedding that song is about a woman having a miscarriage. Yeah, what are you talking about? Like it's a beautiful sounding song that's not what that's weird that disconnect is yes Is a hey in the song he specifically says y'all don't want to hear me. I just want to dance.

Yeah, that is about breaking up Mm-hmm and so many people just think it's a fun catchy dance song Which is right? But that's all it's absolutely about breaking up like the end of a relationship so So I try not to like I try not to hold people to the fire with this particular topic unless they're being abrasive with it like oh I'm still listening to our cat. Yeah, all right now. You're doing this a lot of them.

It's not about now. You're doing this with burdens That's that's it's just randomly singing They don't know Connection like that so that is my answer so for me As we just artists to we are artists over us. I've been doing this shit for a long time I've been doing it long enough to know that When it comes to some of the a lot of the music that artists make just in that form It's hard to know where they begin in the art and it's living like there's it's there's enough of themselves in the art that they put out Sands of course people who have writers right they do they have writers so they're just you they're just really the puppet but a hand up there right it's saying on the page but in hip-hop Because of what used to be known just as a standard principle here. We write our shit Is it possible to write shit you don't believe absolutely we do it all the time But with certain topics even if you don't believe it for you to support it is it is crazy is crazy So I always take this thing the moment I realize that's what the fuck you're saying and I get the cringe factor Even if I like the song I'm not listening to you cuz I like to feel cringe.

It's been several songs even outside of rap Mm-hmm. Then once I called on to what the freedom in what? That means every time that part comes up and I feel that way I don't want to feel that way you're saying now because of that if I get the slightest inkling the slightest if it's smoke I'm assuming they're surprised right that you live in like what you're talking about here. I can't I it feels wrong For me right because I know how much of myself I put in my art Mm-hmm, right and hip-hop we exaggerate We take parts of who we are and blow them some bitches up like Like go cool going super saying right go who already strong he already can fight he already can shoot energy Right, but when he turns super saying is everything's exaggerated.

That's what we doing right? I get the exaggeration part Yeah, but some shit My focus go too far and if I start if it changes the way I see you that's the whole point if it changes the way I see you I no longer get that about you I start with other things so also Again, probably more so judging other people. I take account of the times That that song came out in right so for instance perfect example Well, it's not how it's hot the index has a song where he Interpolates one to welcome my shoe three four he interpolices that and and the motor versus he to be as an explicit as I possibly can he in In service of getting revenge on someone he does something that he shouldn't do to one of their children Yeah, now after I thought about it and realized the implications of that line as an older person because she was a capital Yeah, I really don't listen to that song anymore Because it's like all right. This is I was grown.

I was grown at the time was like oh, no So it was real surprising to me the amount of people that were my age brother a little older that was still listening to that song Yeah, yeah, so you know, I I approached this with a little more new but again, I'm this one so Give me some around No, because because one day I will never I don't lost the application that a lot of people get from it He is morality, but that's not morale is not more there two different words Um, so Okay, some of us says the first soul hit that Kendrick has being because of Drake is hilarious now Somebody responded to this it that's cap. Patrick says Drake your fans are not slow Drake Sven says we're gonna start each context So I'm sorry Richards swimming pools so from his first big album He had a song that charted. I think like number three on the red charts That's it. That's it.

That's it. That's it. That's it. He had a song called I I think I'm never seven on the red charts humble charted number one.

Yeah in all the charts. Yeah, that's the red charts all the charts And he has some recently in 95 that charted number one in the red charts probably even one in a couple of charts So yeah, no, this is a fan of fandom has you saying dumb shit confidently like The reality of the situation is you're not gonna say and tell me that a man who had a huge was a huge impact on the black panther sound Right is not a big name. Right? Stop it.

No y'all sound It's all we have a says is like 78 million streams on his youtube channel No Cultural feel of a Kendrick Lamar and what his name and the she's done As meant to the culture. Absolutely. You don't have to know the numbers to know that so y'all just saying this because fandom Yeah, one hundred percent I said the heart point six agent like fine line man. Somebody responded said it's like bacteria under you be like Look The moment you make a song saying I don't I'm not a pdf You That's No I would Nothing Right, it was just references to songs And thought the big three is just big me.

That was it You know, you know, he was on a couple shots side trays at jay coal, but you really he was focusing on trade The beat C. Oh, bro. Who are you talking about? Right?

Euphoria comes out The entire the entire year before you hey, you're predictable you are conniving We know things that we probably shouldn't know about you I want you to keep this rep and we can keep this rep if you don't it's going to get bad for you He did the same thing with what we Kenny that he did with push it. He brought up somebody's right That's now everything is now everything is in play The line Make songs that electrify you make songs that pass upon I can go deep on that but I'm a let you slide right now Kindness right the next song 616 la he was still Slightly vague slightly more specific with all the things that he was going to be talking about slightly more specific He's that's the song we explicitly said have you ever wondered that OVO is working for me As an I absolutely have a more of a more than your The next song meet the grants That is when the gloves came off because he told him If you if you do this and then this all take man, it's great. Okay, bet We want to do everything then Like I'm not like I came up. He was just So So By the way Niggas is real weird niggas is real weird because I know you don't want to believe that right of your favorite guy, but we have all Bro facts and of a certain age we've already been through this y'all So we know it's outside the realm of possibility, but and we also know Because y'all see the same shit we see.

Mm-hmm. They're smoking. I'm not saying to me. I'm not saying he didn't any of that shit No, I'm just saying they're smoking and there's enough sus shit happening That somebody in the battle is going to use Why wouldn't you it's so responsible?

Yeah, you're gonna use it What else is Another way to know you lost When randos who never met you or they in their life are making this songs about you using a beat to somebody who you told to shut your whole ass up Yo, you're the best majority of this is kind of I'm gonna say I'm gonna say my comment. Um, why can't you come on? When for one reason he emceed he got the crap involved in on his side like a real emcee is supposed to do drink made about him Kendrick said they not like us And again this whole strategy of Kendrick this entire time he's planning to see and to culminate with so to start off with I think the way you say no And for that to grow into they not like us right right like it's it was it was a display. I didn't go old you like I It's going to be studied It will be studied for all time a comment and matter of fact, um, we're going to have people attempt to replicate at least portions of this Um going forward now unfortunately, we don't get Battles of this significance on the range range often these are like um almost like like covid was Like these don't happen that often while there is little sniping happening between smaller artists And by smaller only mean reach and I sanded these people aren't more talented because even more talented than Kendrick and you're not saying that just they're Reaping is a lot smaller right?

Um, they might snipe at each other, but it doesn't get the the pop culture Relevancy because of their station as artists. This is fucking Drake who has been at the top of the game for Well over a decade, right? I so and Kendrick who basically did take the world by storm And I think what happens a lot of times is when you remove yourself from the public because especially in this area now There's so much shit going on people forget just how big Kendrick was yes, he was active. They forget how much you saw his name everywhere Um somebody said Drake's male fan base is willing to completely crush out over him even if it means sacrificing the piece themselves That's in illness.
