Not Mending Fences

from The People’s Court Podcast · host The People’s Court Podcast

The plaintiff says the defendant is his obnoxious, rude neighbor. He claims the man had workers dig a trench on the plaintiff’s property to put in a fence without permission. He’s suing for what it will cost to clean it up. The defendant says he was trying to be neighborly by updating the fence bordering their properties.  Then, the plaintiffs say they rented a room in the defendants’ house, but there was an altercation and they moved out. Now the defendants refuse to return their deposit and rent, so they’re suing. The defendants say they are pastors at the church and the plaintiffs are members. They says the plaintiffs fought nonstop and spread lies at church, so they’re countersuing for defamation.  Don’t forget to rate and subscribe so you never miss an episode.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
