This is week 1 in our Series, Jesus Juke. When Jesus came to earth, He ended up being a lot different than what anyone thought. He was constantly saying and doing things that flipped the system on its head. In many ways, He wasn’t the savior that we all expected Him to be. Lucky for us, as time has gone on and we have advanced into the modern age we have figured out exactly why He said and did everything about His life that is recorded in Scripture. We now have a crystal-clear understanding of this man that we devote our lives to, right? Or maybe not. This week, our head pastor Chris Williams challenged us. Are we so set in our personal opinions that we assume God MUST be on our side, or are we willing to humbly except that he isn’t on anyones at all and what he really wants is our full surrender.Easter Sunday Info:On Campus Services- 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM Childcare provided at all 3!Discussion Questions:In your opinion, who is the GOAT in performing the “juke” in football, basketball, soccer, or hockey?When are you most tempted to try and get Jesus to be on your side? High school ministry meets Sundays at 6:00pm on-campus.We encourage facial coverings per the current state health order.
