Not Smart Enough Is a Fear—Not Your Identity

Have you ever remained silent because you were afraid of sounding foolish? Perhaps you assume everyone else is more intelligent, educated, or qualified, or you hesitate to begin because you believe you should already know everything. The label “not smart enough” may have grown from criticism, comparison, embarrassment, missed opportunities, or one painful experience that became a lasting belief. But not knowing something does not make you incapable of learning. In this episode of Becoming Whole, we will explore the hidden wound beneath intellectual self-doubt and the ways it can cause us to remain silent, procrastinate, dismiss our accomplishments, and avoid God-given opportunities.
