It was absolutely the case of ‘get the job done and move on’ from the Hawks on Saturday afternoon at the MCG. Three lacklustre quarters ended with a bang in the final, as the Hawks skipped away to a 35-point win against the Demons. Danny and Weissy were on hand (a little later than normal) with the reaction pod for this one and the boys chatted through ALOT, so sit back and enjoy. 🗣️ Key talking points: * 7-2 start to the season, why all the concern? * The depth being built in this playing list and the performances of some of the ‘lesser lights; * A shaky start and a barnstorming finish; * Some individual player focus; * The milestone man Josh Ward; * The skipper is back; * The Hawks entering a different phase of the journey to a Premiership; * Looking ahead to the Suns. It’s time to make a statement; * Plenty more… The Hawks head to Darwin today and begin preparations for a big month of football, but if you haven’t listened already, make sure to listen to our post game catch up with Josh Ward and read the recap article, both of which will be in your Substack feed.
