Greetings, greetings. Welcome to another episode of Truth of Power. I'm your host, Tyris Midnight. And tonight I want to talk about not taking war seriously.
Forgive me, excuse me. Now, due to some airstrikes in Iran, the President of the United States down in J-Trump has, well, it seems like we're going to World War III, according to people. And the thing about that is that people on Twitter have been reacting differently. Like Twitter has been making jokes about going to war.
Now, I want to tell you why this is a problem, why making jokes about World War III is a problem. But, and I don't mean to be the guy in the range of people who are ready because you know what? Somebody start worse than there is. At the same time, though, I want to just talk about it.
Now, war is defined as a state of armed conflict between the states, government, societies, and informal paramilitary groups, such as mercenaries, insurgents, and militia. Now, the problem with us is a society in Black society, and I say this without love. And it's not just this generation that we know, is that we don't take war seriously anymore. We don't realize that the civil rights movement was a war.
Jim Crow was a war. Then another thing is when we do get an early win on a battle, we lead a battlefield to where? If you ask the average Black person, are we in a race war? And the average answer would be no.
But the answer is yes. And it's tough. It's tough to come to the Griswid. It's tough to come to the Griswid.
It's during the war. It's tough to come to the Griswid that people aren't really taking it seriously. We are at war right now. And that, when I ran it, but we white supremacy as Black people as a whole.
Also from a person's standpoint, let me address this. I just talked about this from my brother the other day. We talked about people having a hamburger mentality, meaning if you get a hamburger from McDonald's and you get one from rallies, basically it's the same thing. Basically, it's a hamburger, it's still a hamburger.
But you just wanted it from another place. People got that type of mentality when it comes to people giving them information and how they receive it. And we as a society, most of us have hamburger mentalities. If somebody gives them some information, another person gives them the same type of information, but just it differently, they'll receive that before they receive that from somebody else.
But it's too late in the game to shoot the cold anything. And for those who know me, I'm a black and white person. I don't really live in a gray area. But certain things I kind of do, but for the most part, I don't live in a gray area.
You see the black or white, it's one or the other with me. I may lose people with that type of delivery and that type of message, but that's okay. Because at the end of the day, I need some people that don't be right. I need some people that can be with me.
But, and also I tell this story all the time too. I tell this story about when I worked at Home Depot years ago, this black lady, this woman that happened to be black, she came into the store and she asked where the certain item was. I said, it's at the end of the aisle, and I'll be living to the left. And she said, no, you're gonna have to show me.
But this white guy walked up and I said, hey, where is this product there? He said, oh, this is down, I'll be living to the left. She said, okay, she told him. Thank you.
Now I just told her the exact same thing, but she said, no, you're gonna have to show me. But as soon as this white guy showed up and told where it was, she just went there and got it. A lot of people like that in our society. We believe everything that white supremacists tell us.
But when somebody has information, when somebody has information, you have to be able to receive that information because you don't know how beneficial that it could be to your life. Now if I was telling you something detrimental to your life, I would even put my lips to even tell you that. But unfortunately, stores like that isn't negative to our society. Just in the actions and words of people, other people were not on.
Even though history has shown us that they mean it's no good. But I advise black people to become economically, physically, mentally, and worse savvy. And I get told that it's impossible and that I'm naive, but it's a pipe dream. But I've come to realize that those people that are feminine, those are warriors and they're not fit for war.
Sun Zoon once said, where he was saying that, Sun Zoon, all the gay people ready for war, they said they told Sun Zoon that you could never get these women ready for war. Sun Zoon said, just I can't. And they told Sun Zoon, Sun Zoon, get them ready within one day. I get prepared in one day.
And what happened was he gave them on both worlds. He told them two women, he gave two women, friends told them call the friends and it sort of gave them two stores and said, fight. And what happened was they started laughing, they didn't take it seriously. So Sun Zoon said, okay, so maybe misunderstood.
Fight. And those women just kept on laughing. So when Sun Zoon got the sword and killed both of them and told two women to come up and told them to fight and maybe get to fight, like the life was on the line. But I said it to say this, when you are trying to get people ready for war and they don't realize how serious it is, they can't still laugh at it off.
I'm not even talking about going to stream and just killing them with swords and stuff like that. But I'm saying they just get very low people. They're supposed to be about their life because they're not going where you're going. They're not warriors.
And we have Black Society, we need warriors. Because things are getting real epic. Now the aspect of the fight World War III, where I ran, but we fight in a war here at home. We are fighting war here at home.
This brings me to my original point. When you are at war collecting information, it's very important and very critical to your survival. When you are at war jokes and human, she'll go out the window because your life is on the line. We talk about the war on drugs, mass incarceration, basically every war has been ways to kiss us.
Simply because we have a path those minds say. And we want a path on the head and we want to be liked. Those who don't know what a path those minds say is. That's a mindset that's based off emotions.
That's based off emotions. You want to be liked. People are pure-tied emotions. See being led by your emotions will get you killed.
We have to get in that mindset of being led by logic. With soldiers moving war, soldiers move strategically to the battlefield. They are led by intelligence, defamation, that they gather. People who want to be liked are dangerous because you have no idea how far they're willing to go to be liked.
Also, we got too many defense mechanisms and not no defense. It then makes sense. Now in Wallens, I was on recently on the WK Show right out of the time. And I was saying that in order to be out of number, every other race by over 100,000 people.
But we are afraid as a collective to take over, which we should. I'm talking about financially. I'm talking about mentally. I'm talking about physically.
This is our city. This is our city. And we become too afraid to protect our community from all these leaders that come into our community. We won't defend that women from white supremacy, which is embarrassing.
We have to get our gun game in order and our money game in order. And there's no greater worry than a black man. However, we don't have the world in spirit anymore. And it's time to restore that.
It's time to come alive. And people will call me naive, but I have to believe in my people, but I'm confident that we'll prove wrong. Now I didn't want to stay on here long because I got other things to do tonight. But I do want to thank you guys for listening.
But in closing, I want to share this story with you. While I was an ex-aver, and when I was pursuing my master's degree, I was going through what I thought was a difficult time. And I compiled it to one of my professors. And she's a professional counselor.
And she didn't give me any empathy, no sympathy, no pity, no pity party. She just let me dare my eyes and she say, you are a warrior. Now put on your armor and fight. And I advise you how to do the same.
I want to thank you guys for joining me tonight. And I just spoke truth to power. I want you guys to have a good night. Good ingredients.
Welcome to another episode of truth to power. Some will be joined by like papers that call him infinity. It's a whole inside thing that we got going on, but he's a business man, a successful business man, and a new woman. And I want to get his perspective on it.
We're going to be talking about the hamburger mentality and how to face black people. You're welcome to join us.
