Not Them | A Paranormal Investigator’s Partner Has Been Replaced

A paranormal investigator recognizes a stranger where everyone else sees his trusted partner in “Not Them” by Tyler Belmont. Anthony Thomas knows Margaret Clark’s face, voice and history—but the woman arriving at work looks nothing like her. Colleagues accept the change, and even Margaret’s wife seems unaware that anything is wrong. Anthony’s experience with monsters offers little comfort when memory itself becomes unreliable. This supernatural identity-horror story asks what happens when the person beside you changes and you’re the only one who notices.
