It turns out that North Baja’s “Pueblo Mágico” of Tecate, produces more than just good lager and pan dulce… It also happens to be the hometown of Xareni Lizarraga aka our next artist residency at Lp. We sat down w/ Xareni on our day off, just in advance of her up and coming Opening Reception for “Marina Flora,” which will be on exhibit till October. We cracked open an ice cold Orion, on what seemed to be one of the hotter days of this summer in San Diego; it was a welcomed libation. We got a little carried away in good convo and ended up going a little past our intended 30-min goal…no pasa nada :-) As w/ all guests of our not vinyl º series, we’ve asked Xareni to put together a 13-song playlist of what’s on her personal soundtrack these days.
