Not Your Grandma's Christmas

In this Advent season, we are reminded that true preparation for Christmas involves looking beyond our comforts and embracing the unexpected ways God works in our lives. The Israelites, under oppressive rulers, longed for a Messiah to bring justice. Instead, God sent John the Baptist, an unexpected herald who preached repentance and transformation.
