Faith Middleton here with my annual, okay, hourly tribute to buttered toasted cornbread. It makes everybody happy. Whether it’s store-bought or homemade cornbread, use room temperature butter and smear it on the cut side, then grill it, butter side down, until it’s a dark golden color. It’s crisp and buttery in every bite. Great with grilled shrimp or pork. It’s my cornbread mood bath.
