We’re going to be looking at how this lady came to Jesus, as a beggar, with open hands ready to receive from Jesus and how Jesus provided for her and her daughter. We too must come to Jesus as beggars, not with any sense of entitlement, but with open hands ready to receive the gift of salvation He alone offers. Once we’ve received this gift we need to keep remembering that salvation is a gift and telling others where they can receive the greatest gift of all – in the Lord Jesus.
