nothing to report

it’s thursday and i’ve got nothingno sweet epiphanies / no exciting adventures i try to write every week if just to process my own inner journeycalibrate my perspective with the reality of thingsthat’s a useful exercisebut lately it’s been mostly resting and healing and not even bike ridingthat’s where i get alot of the themes and sub-themes - from up on my bikei miss it / i need the inspiration human beings (if i might pivot to the universal) need to be remindedwe forget the simplest and most basic things :: like we are alive pretty basic / have you thought about it today or have you just taken it for granted ??i find that even remembering once in a while enriches my life once in a while is about all i’m able to manage there are no ordinary moments would be another way to say itthey’re all special in some way i wonder how adult fireflies feel about their 2-3 week life spanafter crawling around in their larval state for a couple of yearsnow they have to get laid and procreate and i’m sure they don’t waste a single flash of light as they fly around looking for a mate i read about it in an article don’t know where it is nowa bunch of people were going onan expedition in the english countryside to see the greenish light cast off by a special fungithat appeared in that particular forest this time of year for some reason the fungi didn’t show but one couple who happened to be the couple writing the articlewandered off a bit down the lane and around the bendwhere they discovered a whole cloud of ‘synchronous fireflies’emerging from the ground and rising up / signaling - dash dash dotin unison / moving around and gently pulsatingsoon everyone gathered thereand they forgot about the green fungi huh / guess i did have something to say This is a public episode.
