Notre Dame vs Wisconsin Key X Factors | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

Notre Dame’s season opener at Lambeau Field is no ordinary game—it’s the high-stakes Shamrock Series, and while the Irish are heavy favorites, Wisconsin brings fire with dual-threat QB Colton Joseph and explosive back Abu Sama. Wisconsin’s game plan? Use Joseph’s legs to control the clock and lure defenders, then unleash Sama for big plays. Keep an eye on wideout Eugene Hilton, son of T.Y. Hilton, who can stretch the field despite not being a burner. Up front, Wisconsin’s 6’9” behemoth Kevin Heywood wants to dominate the line—Notre Dame’s D-line must answer. And on defense, Wisconsin’s athletic linebackers Mason Posa and Cooper Catalano will blitz from everywhere. If Notre Dame can limit Joseph’s runs and keep the line of scrimmage under control, they’ll set the tone for their championship run.
