Notre Dame's Run Game Tested Against Spartans | Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football News

Notre Dame heads into a pivotal Saturday night showdown against Michigan State with momentum on offense but critical questions on the line. The Irish average 46.5 points per game, but their run game struggles at just over 114 yards a contest—partly due to injuries and an underperforming offensive line that’s only played two games together in its current configuration. Key matchups loom: center Ashton Craig and the right guard spot must dominate inside against Michigan State’s disruptive DT Ben Roberts, while receiver Micah Gilbert, coming off his best game, faces tough corners Tre Bell and Tyran Chappell. On defense, guard Anthonie Knapp will be tested against elite pass rusher Eli Coenen, who leads the Spartans. This is a chance for Freeman’s team to prove they can sustain success—and win big—in the trenches. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
