Notre Dame’s Wisconsin Roots | Wisconsin Badgers Football News

When Notre Dame heads to Lambeau Field on September 6th, they’re bringing a coaching staff steeped in Wisconsin roots—literally. From QB coach Gino Guidugli, who played arena ball in Green Bay and Milwaukee and even coached for Wisconsin before joining Notre Dame, to receivers coach Mike Brown, who just left the Badgers’ sideline, it’s a reunion of sorts. Joe Rudolph, a Rose Bowl-winning Badger alum and multiple-time staffer, brings decades of familiarity. Chris Ash, who once ran defense at Wisconsin and later led Rutgers, adds more history. And Aaron Henry, a former Badger safety now coaching DBs for Notre Dame after Illinois, rounds out the circle. This isn’t just any game—it’s a homecoming with deep ties, and these coaches are ready to make their mark on the historic field.
