this one started out with some drum/percussion sounds from an ST-xx sample pack. then i found some "star trek radar" sounding sounds in there, and the track quickly went in a minimal/bunker techno "play lots of octaves of the same tone" direction. then i found a very retro-80s sounding synth and the rest sort of fell together.
