Do not fear or panic or be in dread of them, for the Lord your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” — Deuteronomy 20:3–4________________________________________You’ve probably heard the phrase “you become like the people you hang out with.” Whether it’s your best friend hyping you up before a test or a teammate pushing you to work harder, who we spend time with matters. In Proverbs 27:17, we’re reminded that just like iron sharpens iron, people are meant to help each other grow stronger—especially in our faith. And in Deuteronomy 19–20, God tells the Israelites not to be afraid, because He is with them in every battle.
