We want to figure everything out, prove ourselves, or even fix other people. But Proverbs 27:22 reminds us that no matter how much you try to force wisdom into someone who refuses it, it won’t stick. That can be frustrating, especially when the person is you. In Psalm 131, we see a heart that’s learned to chill—to stop striving for answers that belong to God alone. Then in Deuteronomy 25–27, we see a clear pattern: God lays out blessings for obedience and consequences for turning away. He’s not just giving rules—He’s showing what leads to life and what doesn’t.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. You can’t force growth: Have you ever tried to help someone who didn’t want help?
