November 15 2015 – The Ultimate Healing

Consider this about the many people Jesus healed: If they enjoyed a long life the crippled eventually became lame again, the blind lost their sight and the deaf lost their hearing. Even Lazarus, who was physically raised from the dead, eventually died again. However, all these physical miracles pointed to an ultimate spiritual reality. The One who could heal and raise the dead, physically, could also forgive sin and raise the dead spiritually - giving eternal life! The ultimate healing is not a physical miracle. The ultimate healing is that God can open the spiritual eyes of the blind to the truth of the gospel and raise up with Christ those who are spiritually dead.
