Pastor Greg turns to Psalm 130, where the psalmist cries “from the depths”—a place of trouble, adversity, and spiritual distance. Yet even there, God hears. Though none of us could stand if the Lord kept a record of our sins, He offers full and final forgiveness. In Christ, the accusations of self-condemnation fall silent, for God remembers our sins no more and removes them as far as east from west. Hope rises as we wait on the Lord with expectant trust, knowing the enemy seeks to steal what God freely gives. But in His steadfast love, the Lord offers abundant redemption—a ransom paid in full through Jesus. Forgiveness leads to freedom, and freedom leads us back to the God who redeems His people from all their iniquities.
