November 2019 Pivot Tables

Today’s BIG Ideas Podcast is a Pivot Table project I have been working on for a client in the Pacific Northwest.  Their practice management system does not have a report that combines all of the revenue information they need to see in one place.  Rather than multiple reports and cut and paste, we pulled the data directly from SQL Server for analysis in a Pivot Table.  Pivot Tables are a fast, efficient, powerful way to understand what is really happening in your practice.  If you have not had an opportunity to learn Pivot Tables, watch for an upcoming MGMA Webinar in January that we are planning.  Pivot Tables will change the way the run your practice.
