Home sales slowed again in October while listings stayed high — giving buyers more control than we’ve seen in years. Metro Vancouver recorded 2,255 sales, down 14% from last year, as the Bank of Canada’s latest rate cut failed to spark new activity.Inventory is now 36% above the 10-year average, with the sales-to-active listings ratio at 14.2% — solidly in “balanced-to-buyer’s market” territory.
