November 3rd, 2020 Comrades In Farms Episode 12 *Priming The Food Quality Conversation*

from Comrades In Farms - A Regenerative Agriculture Podcast · host The Farmacy Seeds Network

Tonight I talked a little bit about an upcoming series where Brad Lauber  and I will be bringing in some top scientists and genetics experts an  forming a conversation around food. Understanding that the consumer  should have the ability to weigh in on this conversation, we want to  include consumers in that conversation. I introduced the concept tonight  briefly just to raise awareness and then chatted with the listeners and  heard some of their struggles with health and food. Our hope is to  connect consumers directly to seed breeders like Brad and scientists to  discuss all the potential directions our food chain could go in. Topics  on the table for discussion are ecology, soil health, carbon  sequestration, GMO's, CRISPR and other genetics technologies, chemicals,  and more. Please share this upcoming series with your friends and  family as all this is directly related to your health, the future of  farming, and the quality of life on our planet.  Links referenced: John Kempf: Agriculture 2050 | SNC 2018 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeJ2IEslH4E  Reversing Soil Degradation with Dwayne Beck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ20726TYTA  Grow The Farm Up (Brad Lauber's channel):  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCviiwW2E6WvekQ5u9pPiQ5Q  Benson Hill Talk On CRSIPR and how it works: Enabling innovation with CRISPR gene editing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2JpXyqyNRo  Brad's Father's perspective on seed breeding and history of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0g2EckYT3rQ See the live stream on You-Tube Wednesday 12 AM Eastern Tuesday  9 PM Pacific here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6HVdu-1cOg&list=PL837tk-T71LjTQb1sXVtVWZlgnplv-Wor
