Lee can come together with descendants of people enslaved by the Lee family. Where they all call it celebration, and make plans for another one. That world exists. It’s happened. And Susan Glisson was key to those efforts.She helps people reckon with the country's fraught racial history and sees the past not as an anchor, but as buoy.
