And Dave, the Los Angeles Air Department, prepare yourself for three nonstop days of horror. As the Days of the Dead Convention returns to Los Angeles, for more information, go to the vasethedead.net. This is Mancio's High, Vasey's High Girls.com, and it was sent in in North California with Phil and Josh. Ooh!
Okay, Phil's not here. He wants to know, so let's see what he has to say. Dear Josh, don't talk this up. Wow, that's real romantic of you, sir.
Okay, what's next here? Okay. He wants me to thank the San Diego con con for taking the time out to reply to our press credential request. And of course, that means Phil's member who's gone to crap because they never replied to us.
Okay, the next thing on here is, okay, yeah, okay. Since this is going out a week before this birthday, we are taking the time out right now to wish Matt White a very happy birthday. Hopefully you're enjoying your new life in Florida. And hopefully the weirdo sound got to be there.
You've got a lot of training here in the right desert. So you should be fine with the unique individuals that can have it for you. And finally, he wants me to mention the upcoming three-year anniversary of North California. Look, that's coming up already.
Damn time flies. Well, if you want to know any information about North California, go to facebook.com. There's one more thing. P.S.
Josh, seriously do not fuck this up. Finally stepping another reissue. I think this one's up so as well. Yep, looks like you stepped on a pile of shit movies, Josh.
We brought this back to the wall. Yeah, well, just to show the wall off, opinionated at AM. The wall doesn't work at AM. We can rip the wall movies in that one.
Yeah, yeah, I kind of did. I don't think I was very happy. Oh, those shit movies. They're not going to be happy with shit movies.
It's like we said during that episode. There's good movies. There's bad movies. And then there's this.
Sorry to fly off like that. Hey, I got a photo. Where you open the business? This is hell.
And this is Josh. And what? I got one. Yeah, we're going to catch the shot.
We're going to catch the shot. I'm speaking up. I think I do. Let's see.
You know what? I remember it. Is it the re-estricting? Why is the room getting fuzzy?
I don't know. Did you slip me something? Yeah, we were supposed to have a flashback here, but I couldn't get any shrooms. Yeah, yeah.
And the bitch promised me a flashback. Sorry, I will get you shrooms as soon as possible. Thank you. Well, now that the subject is out there and everybody's ready to dive in, let's do that.
This discussion of movies is nothing different to the abolitioners of nowhere. When you've talked about the good, we've talked about the bad. There has been one level though that we've kind of kept touch on since episode two, knowing that it had been into its own episode. Shit movies.
Shit movies is a special kind of description for a movie. It's the type of movie that leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Yes, I know a movie should never really affect that sense, but these movies leave you nauseous. You may ask yourself, when did that fit into the concept of bad movies?
Well, no. There are some at most very few good bad movies. Those are the type of movies going in that will be bad, but you'll get a laugh at it. Like, head was to me and well, you know what, I'll just leave that meet.
Shit movies have no redeeming value to them, and when you're done watching them, the only thing you can think about is you're never going to get that time back. Let's roll with what you think of some of the shit movies in your life. Alright, well, I guess to begin with, I'll need to post a question towards Josh. What happened to good satire films?
When Melbourne started making Broadway plays, that may end it. I see. Well, was that recent? I don't know, I just want to know where that went.
I think they died after Robert Adimatites. That's a bummer. I think that was a good satire movie. No, Dracula didn't love it.
It was pretty good. Yeah, no. Yeah, no, huh? It was good, but I can see why it...
Oh yeah. Well, the thing is, Dracula didn't love it again. Okay, it may be one of the weaker of the satire films, but the one that I'm talking about today makes that one look like a work of art. Because you know what, Dracula didn't love it again, can still make it one.
But you know, it's like a house you can never argue with. No, you can't. The root that these are going, I mean, people that are not familiar with satire films, they're talking about the ones that are like, you know, what have an airplane, the Naked Gun series. All classics.
All those classics and my personal favorite, Space Balls. Oh, yeah. These are movies that, you know, that's both a specific genre or a specific film. Well, the one that I'm attacking today is a disaster movie.
Excuse me, Michael Boney. Yeah, exactly. Now, that's appropriate. The movie is appropriately named because it was a disaster movie.
It was a fucking disaster movie. Yeah, it really is. Now, a disaster movie. You know, they're the scary movie.
This is where things started to go downhill and it became just full of toilet humor. Now, look, I have not outgrown toilet humor. I still laugh at the South Park. Oh, yeah.
And, oh, the Kentucky Fly movie. Yeah. The High School Girls in Told. I have not outgrown this, but it's kind of like that kid that tells a joke or that guy that tells a joke and he just screws up the punch line every time and that's what disaster movie is.
Disaster movie, just you kind of wonder what the heck happened. I mean, I think the movie went off at medicine or something like that. Well, Gabe Kintra Dashing went over first starting roles. Oh, for Pete's sakes.
I mean, I'm not a non-sex hate performer. Right, right, right. Was that somebody just imitating? No, that was a good action.
That was an earthquake. Oh, my God. The thing is, I can understand, you know, making fun of disaster when he's a twister earthquake, all that stuff, which they do do, but then they throw it in these random pop cultural references, like, well, Amy Whitehouse. Oh, basically, does that actually mean all those movies kind of in a hole?
It can be described as Family Guy movie. Oh, you mean all the random shit? Well, yeah, Family Guy is something that's funny. That's funny.
Yeah, he does it funny and the thing is I know the cutaways can be annoying. I mean, I thought, Ron, a little bit of Family Guy, the earlier episodes still give me going, but, you know, it's just the characters in it. But you're right, they do have a Family Guy-esque style with, I mean, if you're talking about disaster movies, why are characters like Poe from Kung Fu Panda popping up? That?
Because it's popular at the time. It was popular, but it was not a disaster movie. You see, that's my problem. People don't realize how a satire works.
I mean, you're supposed to stick with the genre, stick with the disaster movies, and then we have the chipmunks, you know, singing, you know, like Marilyn Manson songs and eating them. Okay, yes, then attacking them is a disaster, but the chipmunks movie was not a disaster. Of course, there are people going, oh, you haven't seen the movie, have you? Yes, I have, I like the chipmunks movies.
Anyway, remember back though, I just, you know, I go in, I shouldn't be expecting much. I should be expecting some chaos, some things to be weird, but I'm talking controlled chaos, you know, stuff where it's like, oh wow, that was funny. It's kind of like, you know, in the middle of, you know, in space halls, I'm bringing space halls up here. Oh, it's a good class excite time.
Oh, absolutely, the part where they're at a diner. I mean, it's just a normal diner. And then I'll know where they die from Alien. Actually, you know, has little fits again, and the Alien pops out of his chat.
The chessworks version. Yeah, yeah, and the guy looks at me, goes, oh no, no again. Alien breaks out in song again. Oh, that was perfect.
I mean, that was, that was ludicrous. But you want to know what sells it? Is that the actors take it totally seriously? Exactly.
That's what sells it. You know, I mean, like every time it was in Nielsen, they take, the scenario that is happening totally seriously, they sell it, you know, surely, it can't be serious. I am serious. Oh, let me show it.
Dead, pan, straight face. I mean, when you have, you know, in the help of like airplane and stuff like that, these were older experienced actors that have done drama. I mean, these are kind of war winners. They're golden glow nominees.
But in these newer movies, these newer satire films, we have young kids playing make-believe, and they are well aware that they're in a satire movie. They're not taking anything seriously, and they don't seem to understand what makes it funny is taking it seriously. Exactly. I mean, that's, that's all I can really say on the matter.
I mean, I can probably go three episodes in to help bad and cycle analyze, and it's probably, I don't stupid to, to cycle analyze a spoof, but movies like Epic Movie, Disaster Movie, Vampire Suck, they're all by the same person who says, hey, let's do a satire film and they don't do it right. There's just a bunch of random pop cultural references. It doesn't even stick with the genre too well, and it'll make fun of other movies that aren't related to the genre. Exactly.
Right. I mean, make you gun me a dumb that would ghost, but the thing is, it was totally believable. Yeah, it worked for me. It did.
It did. They weren't like in the middle of the police station to make a biography. It was an actual- It was an actual romantic scene in that time. The ghost- The ghost- The thing.
Yeah. And I love the part where they play with the, the body double thing where, you know, Leslie Nielsen, he was a 63 year old man at this time, but then when she showed him filling up, it's like this body building Schwarzenegger like, I do the ghost shows face. I think that's hilarious. But anyway, what are your thoughts on this subject?
Because this is- Yeah, I'm right there with you with the most recent satire movies being told bullshit. Yes. I remember when I unfortunately rented it, and they flew me. Oh my god.
Sorry. There's actually a commentary track on there from the critics that hated the movie. Oh really? Yeah.
And they're just in it like where you have no clue why we're here. Really? You have this movie and they want to have this movie and they ask this movie commentary. Oh my god, that's hilarious.
Okay, well- That's my spot on it. That's- That's reduced on the shit movies. That's my deuce on the shit movies. A big steaming deuce and the thing is this will not be the last shit movies.
Yeah. This is just, you know, one part of it because there is so much shit, uh, abundance of shit out there that I can only attack one at a time. I can't blow my logo on one thing. And also too, we definitely have to do a second part to this because it gives us the opportunity to to use this title shit movies part deuce.
Yes, shit movies part deuce. And if this is like from the people who get you ahead I'm going to fucking smack this shit out here. Now smack this shit out of you with my dick man. Like past three episodes now you- I don't care if I want sexual threats or me.
It's fun. Okay, well, I got that fun. Here we go. My aspects- My views, my, uh, where I do you have shit movies?
Alright, now what did you go? Well, there are main movies I could have chose from. From Maker Man, which I still get some death threats on. To Catwoman, which I don't even remember why I watched that scene.
So I knew I had to make my choice count. And I knew I had to get for movies that truthfully deserved my crosshairs. The first on my hit list is you don't mess with the Zohon. This movie was a speed bumper out of Sandler.
This came out of 2008 with a budget of $90 million with a return of the mid, about $38 million. Now waiting the $90 million price tag I can only hope the cast and crew paid themselves well because this was a piece of shit. Yes, my view. Sandler has pulled out the worst concept in turn of the great movies.
Well, Nicky comes to mind. But Zohon seemed like they were just trying way, way too damn hard. It has the usual suspects of Adam Sandler movies such as Rob Schneider, Kevin Eline, and some of Adam's newest cohorts like Nick's, Wardson, and Dave Matthews, which I still wonder why he's decided to do only Sandler movies. But when Michael lets get ready to rumble buffer, is your villain, something is lost in the cards.
I could continue to rip through this movie, but I'll leave it at this. And then Zohon wants the washer to be more tolerant towards between races and everything. But I'm not going to trust me. I'm very peaceful dude.
But I'd rather watch, by two hours speech done by a week or seven, we could stop at the skin end because I know I'd have a little bit more fun at that and then watch in this piece of shit again. And I'd get a laugh on first. I agree with you there. I had this movie in my library and never opened it for a long time.
You're not the first person to tell me that. You're kidding me. I've known a couple people that have been like, oh I just haven't opened it in the watching. Yeah, yeah, if you have to give it to me.
For whatever reason, I don't know if it's the cover or not. But even though it's Adam Sandler who I enjoyed during the Happy Gilmore years, I mean it's a big part of high school for me. Okay, fine. Exactly.
Give them more. Happy, give them more. So during that point, for whatever reason I just say I wasn't in a rush. I saw the trailers.
But I think the trailers, I saw the trailers and I never really found them like, well yeah, I really want to see that. Yeah, I got to see where this is going. But you want to know where I saw it even though I still haven't opened the movie. Yeah.
I saw it on television. And it wasn't dumbed down. It was a movie channel. Yeah.
And I could have watched my own copy. I chose to watch it and I didn't make it to the whole movie. No, I didn't. I did not.
I mean there was just some stuff that was weird like playing hacky sack with the dog and stuff like that. Well, playing hacky sack with the dog was fine, but why didn't the dog wind up, you know, this is, you know, just my sick mind thinking. Why didn't the dog wind up out the window? Yeah.
But they didn't. I'm just like, you're randomly playing hacky sack with the dog. And of course the index watch is long ass. Thank God, I didn't make it that far.
Lucky you. Oh, so there's the, there's the, there's the, there's the problem. I mean, where, why exactly would I not tell to watch it? I mean, maybe that's what it is.
Like, okay, we have a secret agent, you know, that works with a talent talent, talent analyst on my copy. Okay, the form of the Afghanis or whatever. And he happens to be a hairdresser. And that's the big punchline.
Yeah. He loves to do this. Yeah, we'll leave it at that. Yeah.
And I'm like, well, it just, like I said, that's really what I understand is just it was, it is shit. It is shit. And you, you, after coming from a little Nikki, like it's just like the satire films, right? You expect it to be absurd, but you expect to get a gigalot of it.
Exactly. And the movie was just absurd. Oh, yeah. It did not make me laugh.
And then next to the speaking of absurd. Okay. And then something at least it's hard. I never saw the actual movie because it looked absurd.
Well, like you. Yes. Well, what can I say about Andy Samberg that Phil hasn't said about, hey, this movie is shit. Yes.
So bad that I will leave it at this. I paid a little over a fuck to see this movie and I still want my money back. I know sure as hell I won't get the time back. No.
Here's a little treat. Here's a look at the future of shit movies. The title is, that's my boy. Sorry, sorry, Adam, and yes, yes.
Andy Samberg on the trailer alone is echoing. Shh. Hold it. Where did it act?
Shit. I honestly don't think there's any hope for any huge things. Did you see Jack and Jill? Don't want it.
Yeah. Same thing with on him. Didn't want it. Everything the little thing that Adam Satter comes up with lately is don't want it.
Oh, he even came up with Zucheper. Now that has Kevin James. Kevin James. Thank you.
Kevin James in it. And I'm not really trying to ridicule Adam Satter, but you know, I expect a little more from him. But this is the best place he can come up. He got the voice of the monkey, right?
Yeah. The best place he could come up with. Oh, he's always on it. A very annoying voice.
Oh, that's, that's. I know that's the point of voice. But why can't, I don't know. Can you try to do something interesting?
I mean, well, funny people was interesting. I love that one. Funny people was like the last good Amazon movie I've seen. I liked it.
I've been lying asshole on a ripping one. Yeah. A lot of people didn't care for that movie, but I did. But that's not here or not.
Yeah. Oh, that's about it. I guess that's pension off our shit. Yep.
That's a shitty as it gets. Yeah. I think we accomplished a lot of shit. Yeah.
And William might as well run it off with like two more shit. Shit. Okay. So where we go from here?
Where we're going to play our shitty game. Yeah. Okay. So we're going to ask our own serious acronyms.
And the acronym for today is PEG. P-E-G. I will kick this off how will you say it? Sounds good.
All right. People eating goats. Pregnant, erection, grabber. Haha.
Pregnant, eating granola. Puma. Egg. Gahla.
