With the first phase of the Renters' Right Act going live today, we talk to experts from across the industry about what the changes will mean – and what we can expect to see over the coming months. Topics on the table include the end of section 21 and the new possessions process –  including which grounds are likely to cause the biggest issues and the impact of new rules on everything from HMOs to dealing with pet requests. We also look at the biggest challenges – and potential pitfalls – for landlords navigating the new legislative landscape, the impact on the student sector and the way landlords interact with agents.
