In a shooting at a Christian private school in Madison, Wisconsin, a student and a teacher were killed, and six others were injured. Police said the teenage shooter was also found dead at the scene. President-elect Trump answered reporters' questions about the mysterious drones sighted in the northeast. Syria's former leader, Bashar al-Assad, issued his first statement since rebel forces toppled his regime earlier this month.
