Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk has died after being shot at an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. President Donald Trump confirmed his death on social media, calling him “great, and even legendary.” The president also ordered all American flags nationwide lowered to half-staff until Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Kirk, 31, was the co-founder of Turning Point USA, the largest conservative youth organization in the country.Russian drones entered Polish airspace on Wednesday, according to Polish authorities, who say the drones were shot down with the support of military aircraft from NATO allies. It marks the first known instance of a NATO member firing shots during the war in Ukraine. Poland has invoked NATO’s Article 4, which allows member states to begin formal discussions about threats to their security. Russia, meanwhile, denied targeting Poland with drones.
