NTIO #217 We Go Old School

from Now That I'm Older · host Now That I'm Older

Hello and Welcome back to a show that remembers when we all saw Cindy Crawford pull up in a Lamborghini in 1992, pop open a Pepsi and none of us little boys (and some little girls lives were forever changed because of that commercial. This week we weren’t able to get together to record so I pulled a couple of older clips. The first one is an outtake of Kenny and I sitting and discussing Joe Rogan and how Kenny just wants Joe Rogan money and that’s why he does the podcast. Then we move on to a clip we recorded after episode 174, where we discuss minimum wage and roommates and we discuss people’s reaction to the show. I figured you guys that are still listening would love new shit as opposed to another remix episode. And that is another thing...tell your friends about the show. We love doing this thing for you guys, but we have been really busy. Me with selling my house and Kenny with opening his own business, but we are not planning on stopping any time soon and it would be awesome if you guys would make sure to tell your mom, your mailman, you masseuse and anyone else you can think of about the show. We wanna spread the word and spread more of Kenny’s nonsense. This week we shouted out these #PodernFamily shows: Pop! Pour! Review Podcast; Cage's Kiss Podcast and notamommapodcast! We also spun promos for: Media Nerds Podcast and Netflix 'N Swill! So check their shows out, after you finish with ours. This week's show goes out to anyone who has had a birthday recently and the day of was JUST OK. Remember birthdays when you were a kid? You'd get presents and maybe a birthday party? The kids in school would spend all day telling you Happy Birthday and it was basically a big ass deal that you were born on that day, whatever day it was. Then around 33 or so, birthdays just became another day. One more day in your life that just was what it was. Sometimes there's cake and sometimes there's presents, but it's just another day. So this podcast goes out to you Birthday Boy or Girl! We didn't get you a gift, except for the gift of laughter! Have a great week guys! Big Old Life: Heather Blackbird interviews people on planet earth. Heather Blackbird loves asking questions. This podcast is a learning experience. Join me, Heather Blackbird, as I talk to people about their lives. Frequency of new episodes is a little all over the place and I'm learning as I go. Big Old Life is a small way of talking about the vastness of life, one person at a time. If you are reading this or found this podcast it's probably because someone you know gave you a link to it. :) Explicit The Sacred +Profane Podcast nephtaragrace The Sacred + Profane Podcast is a provocative conversation dedicated to cementing a better future for all. We specialize in unpacking the nuances of what is considered sacred and profane, particularly focusing on sex, death, and all that pertains to the circle of life. Our aim in focusing on such ”taboo” subject matter is to demystify what is unconscious, bring to light what has been known for centuries as ”the occult,” and empower the rapid transformation that is occurring on the Planet. Explicit Never Time to Give Up Shadoe Lass A nod to the classics with a note from the future. A project meant to encompass every call I wanted to make but never went through. Seriously, it's just me, calling you. Pick up the phone? :) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information. Explicit
