Nullification, pt 1

We find Annabelle and Darren on their way to Multae headquarters, located in a compound deep underground. They have been informed that someone wishes to speak with them. After that, they will be free to go. So they agree to the meeting and find themselves in a video conference with a friendly man who introduces himself as Joshua. He is very apologetic about the circumstances of the conversation but insists that it is necessary. Then he tells them a story of a scientific experiment that resulted in split realities. And then another experiment that bridged them, resulting in these dangerous anomalies. A scientist at the lab has gotten his hands on one of the anomalies.
