Numb One // KingNUMB (Part 3) // Tim Ross
from Transformation Church · host Transformation Church
Pastor Tim Ross walks us through the story of the prodigal son. Sometimes being numb to your current reality can cause you to make decisions that are outside of God’s will. While the youngest son was outside of his father’s presence, he squandered his money and found himself working amongst pigs. Sin always takes you farther than you planned. In the midst of being in the pig stye, the youngest son came to his senses. In repentance, he ran back to his father’s house and was greeted with a party only to be met by a brother who was numb himself. What this message teaches us is that there can be 2 extremes of being numb - for some of us, we have sinned and can come back to our senses, for others we have to be careful to not allow our outward “perfection” to make us numb to our inward imperfections.Scripture References:Luke 15:11 - 32 NLT
