As of the end of 2025, there were 400 feedlots in Pipestone County that were required to be registered, according to the annual feedlot report that was approved by the Pipestone County Commissioners during their March 10 meeting. That’s nine fewer than there were at the end of 2024. Sites with 50 or more animal units, or 10 or more in shoreland areas, must register.
