Number Two (Choices)

“Number 2” is a late-night Neo-Soul / Trap-Soul confession about falling for someone you knew could never completely be yours. It explores forbidden love, temptation, regret, and the painful realization that sometimes heartbreak isn't something that happens to us—it's something we knowingly walk into. Over dark, atmospheric R&B production, off-kilter percussion, deep bass, haunting textures, and vulnerable vocals, the story follows a man who accepts the hardest truth: he knew where he stood from the beginning, but his heart convinced him to stay anyway. “I now realize it was my fault… because I chose to be number two.” For anybody who's ever loved the right person in the wrong situation. 🎧 Best experienced late at night, headphones on.
