Numbers 20: The Example We Leave Behind

Numbers 20 is a chapter filled with grief, frustration, consequences, and transition. After Miriam’s death, the Israelites once again complain about having no water. God provides for them through the rock, but Moses and Aaron fail to honor Him fully, leading to serious consequences. This chapter also records Edom’s refusal to let Israel pass through its land and the death of Aaron on Mount Hor. Through these events, Numbers 20 reminds us that God remains faithful even when His people struggle, but obedience, humility, and honoring God still matter.
