Numbers 28

from Perfectly Imperfect Together · host Perfectly Imperfect Together

In Numbers 28, the rhythms of every single day, week, month and year are reviewed and the importance of honoring God in every single day, week, month, and year of our lives. The importance of giving Him our whole selves completely to God, giving our fellowship to God, the fruits of our labors, as well as our joys and sufferings is reiterated. When God's people keep these rhythms at the heart of their lives, they stay close to God. When they stop honoring the feasts and sacrifices, they fall. Remembering all God has done and is even doing right now in our lives is vital. The first four annual feasts took place in the spring. They each point straight to Jesus when He came to earth to give His life for us. They represent the Passover, burial and sanctification, and resurrection of Jesus as well as the unification of God's people as churches started across the nations. Jesus is our once and for all final sacrifice. He died so we could live. He came to earth to bring us home. He paid it all so we could have it all. The only thing required of us is to choose Him and receive true life in Him.
