Numbers 28: God Has Not Lost His Mind When He Repeats Himself

Consistency is more important than occasional intensity. Spiritual maturity is usually formed through repeated faithfulness, not isolated moments of inspiration. God gives the new army of Israel an old commandment to make sure they never forget to put God first in their lives on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. The burnt, grain, liquid, and sin offerings all represent our live long consecration, dependance, gratitude and service to God. Practicing these rhythms would ensure that God never became an afterthought or inconvenience but the source of our vitality and longevity throughout out life.
