Nurse to Hospital CEO, Paula Meskan

Paula Meskan | CEO, Acting CFO, MA, RN, CNEP In March 2021, Paula Meskan was named the CEO of River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic in St. Peter, MN.  Meskan earned her four-year Bachelor of Nursing degree from the College of St. Catherine.  Her first job after graduation was working as the lead RN at Faribault Regional Treatment Center.  Following that she worked as a nurse at a group home and after a few years transitioned to a labor, delivery, and pediatric nurse at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.  She became the Director of Women's and Children's Services at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato and served in that role for six years prior to being hired in 2009 as the Chief Nursing Officer at River's Edge Hospital & Clinic.  In 2020, Meskan was named the interim Chief Executive Officer for 7 months prior to being hired in March 2021 as River's Edge Hospitals Chief Executive Officer.
