Nurses Aide Commits Shocking Acts On Memory-Care PatientsUwadiegwu, a 60-year-old nurse aide, was indicted for sexual offenses committed in 2018 and 2013. He pleaded guilty to one count of sexual battery and one count of gross sexual imposition, while the remaining charges were dropped. Judge Michael Oster Jr. sentenced him to 48 months in prison for sexual battery and 17 months for gross sexual imposition, to be served concurrently. In a separate case, Uwadiegwu pleaded guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition and was sentenced to three years in prison, with 18 months on each count. Ultimately resulting in a total of seven years in prison.Uwadiegwu will also be classified as a Tier-III sexual offender, requiring him to register his address every 90 days for life. The prosecutor confirmed two victims, one from Middletown and the other from Hamilton.
