The journal is recognized internationally in the medical-surgical community. Dottie is a career orthopaedic nurse and clinical nurse specialist who has written and spoken frequently on topics such as arthritis. She has also been a frequent presenter on the subject of writing for publication by authors with varying levels of experience.
