In this EDAW bonus episode, Han joins Dr Alice Mayor on an Nutritank IG live to talk all things eating disorders.This years EDAW aims to increase the education and training junior doctors get for eating disorders, which is currently only 2 hours.In this chat, we discuss the different types of eating disorders, and the stigma that still unfortunately exists around these. We also talk about the stigma that exists in healthcare settings and what might be needed to help tackle this. We discuss if education for doctors in their medical school curriculum would help and also the role of GPs.
