Nvidia disclosed that they will be taking a $5.5B charge on their next earnings report in an SEC filing yesterday driven by a de-facto ban on sales of their H20 GPUs to Chinese customers, a complete reversal of an earlier story last week that sent shares higher. Elsewhere the trade war rumor mill ran wild last night with anonymously sourced articles suggesting a Chinese willingness to negotiate (If Trump plays nice in the sandbox) followed by the release of a White House fact sheet suggesting China "faces tariffs up to 245%."
