NWO 20th Anniversary Episode

from New Blood Rising Podcast · host William Renken

The wrestling changed forever on July 7, 1996 when The Outsiders, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, revealed (or rather he revealed himself) the mystery 3rd member of their group invading WCW. No one could have predicted that Hulk Hogan would have dropped the leg on Randy Savage and called the formation of him, Nash, and Hall the New World Order of professional wrestling. The rest, as they say, is history. This week, we celebrate the 20 years that have passed since that fateful day at Bash at the Beach, looking at the seeds of the NWO, the members, the controversy, the fall, the rise, and the fall again. As we're closing in on the end of Season 2 of the New Blood Rising Podcast, this is an interesting call back to Season 1 and leads pleasantly well into what is to come nearing the end of our 2002 run. Keep downloading the podcast and encourage others to find us through Podbean or iTunes. We love the ratings and reviews you all have posted and we appreciate it them.
