ஞானத்தேடல் - Episode 15 - நிரோட்டக யமக அந்தாதி (Gnanathedal)

நிரோட்டக யமக அந்தாதி - உதடுகள் ஒட்டாத பாடல்கள்   தமிழ் இலக்கியங்களில் பல விந்தையான ஆச்சரியமூட்டும் படைப்புகள் உள்ளன.  அவற்றில் நாம் முன்னே பார்த்தது ஆசுகவி, மதுரகவி, சித்திரகவி, வித்தாராகவி  என்பன. அதில் நீரோட்டகம் என்பது ஒரு சித்திரகவி வகை சார்ந்த பாடல். இதற்கு இதழகல் என்ற பெயரும் உண்டு. இந்த பாடல் வகையில் சுவையான விஷயம் என்னவென்றால் இந்த பாடல்கள் பாடும்போது உதடுகள் ஒட்டாது.  இதில் யமகம் என்னும் அமைப்பு ஒரே சொல் வேறு வேறு பொருளுடன் வருவது. மேலும் அந்தாதி என்பது முதல் பாடலின் இறுதி சொல் அடுத்த பாடலின் முதல் சொல்லாக வருவது.  இப்படிபட்ட அருமையான படைப்புகள் தமிழ் மொழியை மேலும் செழுமை படுத்துகின்றன. இப்பதிவில் அந்த நிரோட்டக யமக அந்தாதி  வகை பாடல்களைப் பற்றி பார்ப்போம்....   Nirotaga Yamaga Andhaadhi - Songs in which the lips don't meet   Tamil literature has amazing works that blow our minds. We have already come across those - Aasukavi, Madhurakavi, Chiththirakavi and Viththaara kavi. Of which Nirotagam is a part of Chiththira Kavi in which the lips don't meet when one sings those songs. It is also called as Idhazhagal. Adding to the complexity is the Yamagam form, in which the same word repeats in each line giving a different meaning. Andhaadhi is a form where the last word of the first song becomes the first word of the next song. Works like these enrich the Tamil language.
