Bennet was ousted in 2020 after running an op-ed from Sen. Tom Cotton that argued for bringing in troops to quell the riots in American cities. That decision led to a newsroom revolt at the Times.They also scratch their heads over reports that the White House intern letter demanding a ceasefire in the Middle East was started in a group chat by someone none of the interns knew.
